The government has approved 8.65 per cent interest rate on employees provident fund for 2018-19, which will now be credited into the accounts of over 6 crore subscribers.
At present, an interest rate of 8.55% is being paid by the EPFO. However, the interest rate of 8.55% was fixed for the period of 2017-18.
Other Announcements by government-
Santosh Gangwar stated that two offices of EPFO in Srinagar and Jammu will be made.
